■Brand guidelines · v1.0
The Quirebit identity.
A small system: one mark, one wordmark, five colours and three typefaces. Use it plainly and leave it room.
The mark
A Q drawn as a ring, with a single square for its tail. The ring is the quire: sheets gathered into one. The square is the bit. The square is always Rubric red; the ring takes the colour of the text around it.
- Clear space. Keep at least the width of the red square clear on every side.
- Minimum size. Mark: 16 px. Lockup: 20 px tall.
- Two grounds only. Place the logo on Paper or Ink, or on a photograph calm enough to read against.
- Don’t recolour the square, stretch the mark, add effects or redraw the wordmark in another typeface.
Colour
Ink and Paper do nearly all the work. Rubric is the red that scribes used to mark what matters; use it for one thing at a time.

Voice
- Plain. Say what the thing does. Short sentences, ordinary words.
- Exact. Name the limit as well as the feature.
- Quiet. No exclamation marks, no superlatives, no hype.
- Names. “Quirebit” in running text; “Quirebit Inc.” in legal lines. Products keep their own names: “Annorite, by Quirebit”.
